The Social Studies GED® and HiSET® test measure your understanding of the history, economics, and geography of the United States and the world. Our lessons will teach you about those topics. The lessons also give you tips for answering test questions.
At the end of each of these lessons, there is a quiz. The quizzes will help you practice for your GED® or HiSET® test. They ask the same type of questions that you will be asked in the real test.

Welcome to the GED® language arts class!
This free online GED® Language Arts class will help you pass the GED® or HiSET® Language Arts section.
The Language Arts test measures how well you understand what you read and how well you can explain your ideas.
Reading, grammar and writing
This Language Arts class has three sections: reading, grammar, and writing. All three sections are on the GED® and HiSET® tests.
At the end of each lesson, there is a quiz. The quizzes will help you practice for your GED® or HiSET® test. They also show you if you have understood the material in the lesson.
For the essay questions, there are no wrong or right answers. We will teach you how to answer these questions.
Please do not worry if you get a lot of wrong answers. Take the quizzes as many times as you like. The most important thing is to keep practicing!

Welcome to the GED® science class!
This free GED® science class will help you understand what science is and scientific research is. The class will introduce you to physics, biology, chemistry, earth science and outer space.
You don’t need to remember everything, but it will help you in your test to be familiar with these scientific topics.
Test questions
Most of the test questions will ask you to read a scientific text and answer questions. We want to prepare you. At the end of each lesson, there is a quiz. The quiz questions are similar to the GED® and HiSET® test questions.
Take the quizzes as many times as you like. Keep practicing, whenever you have time.
Vocabulary
Science uses many long and uncommon words. Even many native English speakers do not know these words. At the end of each lesson, there is a vocabulary review.
